We started QaziniTech to do outsourcing differently.
For a long time, "outsourcing" meant handing off the work you didn't want to a call centre in a city you'd never visit, staffed by people paid barely enough to stay. Quality suffered. Retention collapsed. Everyone lost.
We started QaziniTech because it doesn't have to work that way. Kenya has one of the largest, most educated, most English-fluent workforces on the continent, and Nairobi has the infrastructure to match. What was missing was a company willing to build around the people, not the arbitrage.
So that's what we did. Everyone on our delivery team is a full-time employee. Everyone goes through our academy. Everyone has a career ladder with pay bands you can see. And every client engagement is priced so we can keep it that way.
The result is teams that stay, quality that gets better over time, and clients who tell us we're the best hire they made this year.
What we believe
People before process
Good process doesn't fix a team that feels unseen. We invest in careers, not headcount.
Honest, even when it's awkward
We say no to work we can't deliver on, and we say the hard thing in the sprint review. Our SLAs are public.
Operators, not consultants
Every leader here has run a team, missed a target, and rebuilt it. We do the work, we don't just advise on it.
Rooted in Nairobi
Our office, our academy, our leadership and our tax base are all here. That's the whole point.
10% of profits to charity
Every year we donate 10% of our net profits to education and youth employment programs in Nairobi.
